The Mayrhofen Advent is an insider tip for all Zillertal visitors. On Fridays and Saturdays before Christmas, the idyllic forest festival grounds enchant people of all ages. Skiing/Snowboarding

From Mayrhofen you can access two top ski areas via the Penkenbahn or the Ahornbahn lifts. Both can be quickly and easily reached from the Rauchenwalderhof. The areas near Mayrhofen also have a lot to offer. With one ski pass you can use all facilities in the Zillertal - including the Hintertux Glacier, where skiing is possible almost the entire year. Freeride parks were built especially for snowboarders.

Tobogganing

This is fun for the entire family. A number of toboggan tracks are available, e.g. the one in Gerlosstein, with its 7 km the longest illuminated natural toboggan track in the Zillertal. Along the track the usual cabins are not to be missed - because a toboggan ride calls for a decent bite of food accompanied by a drink or two.
